Design Your Own Electronic Instrume...

Presented by Clifton Cultural Arts Center at Clifton Cultural Arts Center at Short Vine

Explore the fundamentals of electronics, music, and the science of sound with hands-on lessons and experiments. Over this 10-week course students will learn how to design, build, and play their own electronic instrument build from simple electrical components. Using light sensors, knobs, and pressure sensors, students will be taught to consider sound as an artistic material and physical phenomenon. Students will learn how to craft their own graphic musical scores to represent their musical ideas for their instruments and play as an ensemble. No prior musical or electrical training required.  Class meets Tuesdays from 4:00 - 5:0pm beginning September 8 - November 10.
