January 5 & 6, 2018: the story of a Colombian immigrant and his bi-racial daughter.
A man leaves his native country in search of greater opportunity. He encounters obstacles, but also finds love and starts a family. He climbs for success, stability, and acceptance. His daughter climbs to connect to her father’s heritage without turning her back on the world she calls home. Climb is a compelling, driving, and heart-rending new dance work by MamLuft&Co. Dance, based on the choreographer Elena Rodriguez Moore’s experience as the bi-racial daughter of a Colombian immigrant.
Featuring Corrinne Bailey, Samantha Conte, Claire Dieringer, Susan Honer, Elena Rodriguez Moore, Gabriel Martinez Rubio, and Hannah Williamson.
