Walterhoope presents their locally produced short film, Too Like the Lightning, a love letter to catcallers, mansplainers, followers on the street, and other sundry unsavories.
With Too Like the Lightning, Walterhoope responds to the call of the #MeToo movement. Through humor and pathos, Walterhoope seeks to illuminate the many forms of street harassment, providing a voice for those victims unable to articulate their experiences. At the one-night screening, audiences will be invited in with refreshments, a screening of the film, and live recitation and conversation.
Space is limited! Tickets are $10 and include tasty snacks provided by In The Field. They can be purchased in advance at the following link, at walterhoope.com, or cash at the door. All tickets are general admission.
