Celebrate 35 years of musical excellence and social justice activism with MUSE. Under the leadership of new music director Jillian Harrison-Jones, MUSE presents commissions and arrangements from the past 35 years, an Enduring Spirit Award presentation honoring the late Maureen Wood, and the premier of a new commission created by and performed with Siri Imani, local poet and activist from TRIIIBE, inspired by the hashtag movement #IfIDieInPoliceCustody.
MUSE will feature alumni group CLIO, Cincinnati Men's Chorus, and MUSE Kids on stage at Memorial Hall. Plus, art installation of 11 portraits of women of color who were all murdered by police or police-related activity by Columbus-based artist Aimee Wissman.
