Walterhoope presents a bilingual stage adaptation of Cummins and Scoullar’s The Little Prince as they explore the things in life that are essential, but invisible to the eye.
Join the Little Prince on his fantastical journey through the galaxy as Walterhoope transforms the beautiful gardens of Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center into the African Desert. Speaking two languages, two actors will play 13 characters and use found objects in the garden to reveal the hidden magic within the everyday that is so organic to children but is so easily lost by adults.
Starting at 7pm on Friday/Saturday and 2pm on Sunday, guests will be invited to share in a French-inspired meal provided by La Soupe Cincinnati with the performance to follow. True to the Walterhoope style, guests won't be there simply to watch but to experience and participate in family-friendly activities that spark their imaginations and expand their creativity.
Tickets are $15 if purchased before May 4th and $20 if purchased after May 4th. Kids under 13 get in FREE. All tickets are general admission, and include a meal prior to the show.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.walterhoope.com or with cash at the door.
