A quintet organized by internationally known jazz pianist Phil DeGreg featuring trumpet player Mike Wade, pays homage to jazz great Horace Silver.  NEA Jazz Master, Silver is a Downbeat Lifetime Hall of Fame member, co-founder with Art Blakey of The Jazz Messengers, and composer of many classics, including Song for My Father (voted into the Grammy Song Hall of Fame, ranked among the twenty most influential hard bop recordings of all time).

Jazz in the Heights is a summer concert series benefiting Kennedy Heights Arts Center.

The afternoon begins at 1:00 pm with a pre-concert reception with free lite bites from the BonBonnerie, artist demonstrations and cash bar. Show starts at 2:00 pm.

Admission Info

General admission tickets are $25 in advance/$30 at the door. Concert Hosts receive VIP reserved seating for two, two drink tickets and recognition in the concert program for $100.
