Area Choreographers Festival is the only performance in the Guest Artist Series that is commissioned and produced by Contemporary Dance Theater. It is an important celebration of choreographers and dancers with ties to the Cincinnati region. A panel of their peers, who have chosen these artists for 2018, adjudicated these artists. This year’s artists are: Theresa Bautista, Leslie Dworkin, Jeri Deckard Gatch, Ashley Goos, Jon Lawson and Hannah Williamson. The works these choreographers are presenting include a variety of subjects from relativity, human trafficking, nature & environment, and change and how we deal with change; in other words, the very things we all deal with and ponder every day.
