Parties of Note are a series of events presented by the Cincinnati Symphony Volunteer Association, with the goal of raising awareness and funds in support of the Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestra. Each of these parties feature a wide range of venues, cuisine and entertainment. You’ll meet and great people, including some members of your world-class Orchestra. Hosts provide the parties allowing 100% of ticket revenue to support the Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestra.
Did you know? CSO Associate Principal Bass, Matt Zory, is also a camera virtuoso! Enjoy an artist-guided look at his photography exhibit “Zory’s Stories” followed by a special courtyard concert featuring CSO Trio Matt, Tim Berens and Marc Wolfley. This building is the former home of CSO founding Music Director Frank van der Stucken.

Entertainment: Ellen Harrison (international award winning composer) has composed a piece for bass entitled The Window, inspired by one of Matt Zory's exhibited photos. Matt will play the World Premiere of The Window at the Party-of-Note.
In addition, Don Bogen (Editor, The Cincinnati Review and internationally published and renowned poet) is writing a poem inspired by one of Matt Zory's photos and will hold it's premiere reading at this Party-of-Note!
