Wave Pool will host an artist panel discussion on social practice photography between exhibiting artists Jason Lazarus, Eliza Gregory, Jacqueline Wood, Natalie Mancino, and Rebecca Hackemann, moderated by curator Calcagno Cullen.
This is an opportunity to learn more about this relatively new way of creating both images and community as well as dive into some of the challenges that arise through an art form that must consider the history of photography, social justice issues and concerns, community dynamics, and of course the aesthetic results.
