ON STAGE Music Hall is a unique, immersive experience with the CSO Chamber Players and YOU. Get up close and musical as you sit in-the-round with the CSO Chamber Players on Music Hall’s stage. Feel every note, sense every breath and connect with the music and musicians in this uniquely intimate setting.
The Chamber Players’ season opens with Haydn’s light and carefree String Quartet No. 4, one of six known as his “Sun” string quartets, and which earned Haydn the moniker “the father of the string quartet.”
Michael Chertock, principal keyboardist for the CSO, brings his talent for composition to the forefront with his Urban Legends, a CSO Chamber Players premiere. The lovely melodies and artful shifts of mood in Zemlinsky’s Clarinet Trio bring this attractive program to a close.
