Beethoven's Piano Trio - CSO Chamber Players

Beethoven's Piano Trio - CSO Chamber Players

Presented by Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra at Music Hall

Nielsen’s lighthearted Wind Quintet delightfully showcases each instrument’s colors and melodic strengths.

Schulhoff’s Concertino, whose virtuoso passages are inspired by jazz and Slavic and Czech folk music, is an exhilarating and dynamic centerpiece for this program. Beethoven’s multifaceted Piano Trio is a nod to Haydn and Mozart, with its gently flowing opening movement, “call and response” minuet, and triumphant finale.
