Contemporary Dance Theater Presents Everett in The Freedom Project

Presented by Contemporary Dance Theater, Inc. at Unknown

CDT is proud to present Everett of Rhode Island, performing the Freedom Project.

Contemporary Dance Theater, in partnership with The Yard, Brown University and NPN, supported the development of Everett’s newest work, Freedom Project. In this regional premiere, Everett will use dance, theater, and spoken word to engage the audience in a unique discourse about the racial and socioeconomic disparities and injustices within the US prison system.

Everett from Providence, Rhode Island, spent two years researching information, and life stories from people around the country affected by the increasing number of individuals incarcerated by this country.
