This past summer, Manifest Drawing Center's Resident Instructor of Photography Michael Wilson invited fourteen nationally renowned photographers to participate in Archive [Negative]. For the project, each artist provided one of their original black and white negatives which they then printed in collaboration with Michael in the Manifest Community Darkroom. The resulting archive of photographs, some of which have never been seen beyond film, stand as both an analog record of the late 20th century and an exciting survey of the rich character of black and white film photography. Join us at Manifest Drawing Center for the opening of this two-week exhibition, a part of the FotoFocus Biennial!
