Community history and pride are celebrated this Fall when archival images are matched with contemporary photographs in Sharonville +5: Then, Now, and Interpreted at the Westheimer Gallery (a participant in FOTOFOCUS 2018 Biennial: Open Archive).

Contemporary images by local photographers Joe Bayer, West Chester; Bernadette Clemens-Walatka, Blue Ash; Susan Ernst, Sharonville; Becky Linhardt, Sharonville; and Lynda Rust, Mt. Healthy are exhibited alongside archival images from the Society of Historic Sharonville, Heritage Village Museum and Educational Center, Gorman Heritage Farm, and Great Parks of Hamilton County (Sharon Woods) – all located in Sharonville or within five miles.

The exhibition opens with a Reception on Friday September 28, 6PM - 8PM.  

Sharonville +5: Then, Now, and Interpreted runs through October 27.

Sharonville THEN on Saturday, October 13 is a special review of even more archival images of local interest that will be shown in a continuous loop presentation on the 18-foot wide screen of the Sharonville Cultural Arts Center’s theater from 10AM to 2PM.  Next door in the Westheimer Gallery, visitors can meet with the exhibition’s participating photographers to talk ideas and get answers to some “how did you do that?” questions.
