Enjoy the original music, choreography and poetic words of the artistic community here at Elementz during our FREE monthly showcase. This month our showcase will feature a special performance by our Creative Director, Abdullah Powell. At 7pm, he will be introducing new music and multimedia segments from his latest album entitled Reaching Higher.

Our first hour will include music and spoken word performances by Noah Hawes, Jamie-Lee Morris, Destiny Lewis and Nitty Morris and street dance by youth participants in our dance program.

About Reaching Higher:
Released at the start of 2019 Reaching Higher focuses on the themes of personal growth and paying homage to many of those who have been influential in Abdullah’s life. Abdullah’s says his main inspiration for the album came from seeing the birth of his 4 children first hand along with the day to day realities of parenting and adulting. The album was written and produced exclusively by Abdullah and features guest appearances by Abdullah’s family and one cameo with Columbus, Ohio’s own Rashad Thomas.
