Matinee Musicale presents pianist Reed Tetzloff on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Memorial Hall OTR.
Pianist Reed Tetzloff has distinguished himself as one of the brightest stars of a new generation of musicians. At the 2015 International Tchaikovsky Competition he was named a semi-finalist, with his performances widely acclaimed by the Russian media which dubbed him "the lyric hero of the competition" and likened him to Van Cliburn.
Tetzloff performs with a warmly charismatic stage presence and communicates easily with audiences. The Cincinnati Enquirer said Tetzloff is "richly communicative - a young American to watch." Klassiek Central, Belgium proclaimed Tetzloff "lives through whatever he performs - he cannot do otherwise."
