The son of Celedonio Romero and part of “the royal family of the guitar,” Pepe will perform a composition his father dedicated to him, the Concierto de Málaga. Inspired by exotic and fiery Spanish sounds that incorporate flamenco elements, the CCO will feature internationally acclaimed flamenco dancer Arleen Hurtado. Providing a rhythmic center to the orchestral fabric will be palmero Gabriel Osuna, showcasing this unique style of handclapping.
