Online dating, a tale of woe in story and song.
from Dawn Larsen (Florence, SC)
Primary Lineup – Solo Performance (Comedy, Americana, Dating)
A poignant comedy, the show combines original songs, stick figures, and the online dating journey of one progressive woman living in the deep South. Ten lessons (and one bonus!) underscore her discovery of who she is, what she wants, and that love is her divine right.
Storyteller/singer-songwriter, Dawn Larsen grew up in the Ozarks amid lots of mountain music, arts, and storytelling. A theatre professor, she founded and operated the last traveling Toby tent show in the country and researches and publishes about that and tent theatre. She is working on a brand new CD full of original songs inspired by the beauty of the Ozarks, working title, Hillbillyland and a new solo show those songs.
