Six Cincinnati area choreographers present new or nearly new work produced by Contemporary Dance Theater
Choreographers from Dayton, Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati have created 6 works be presented at the Jarson-Kaplan Theater at the Aronoff Center in downtown Cincinnati, on June 7 & 8 at 8 PM. The choreographers are Corrinne Bailey - "Label Me Not", David Choate - "Human Condition", Kent de Spain - "Elegy", Joan Ferrante, Donna Grisez and Renee McCafferty - "Let Our Loss Be Heard", Diane Germaine -"The Journey", and Jeanne Mam-Luft, intensive collaboration.
These works of contemporary dance include subjects of identity, racial discrimation, homage, poetry, and collaboration and connection. They bring together young and seasoned performers from the Greater Cincinnati area with lighting designed by Larry Csernik.
