YPCC presents “Chiaroscuro”, a concert curated in partnership with the Cincinnati Art Museum and featuring 150+ singers raising their voices to celebrate and explore the light and shadows in which strong women live, work and create.
YPCC, under the batons of both Founder KellyAnn Nelson and Dr. Megan Boyd (in partnership with the Cincinnati Art Museum) present Chiaroscuro, an exploration of female empowerment through the lens of both shadow and light. These two powerful female conductors, with a nod to the centennial celebration of women’s suffrage, have crafted a program that pairs with art works curated by CAM and highlights anthems and songs about strength, coming out of the shadows, and embracing your own inner light. In addition to over 150 singers onstage at Memorial Hall, you’ll hear and see art created by and about women and the contrast found within the darkness and light of history, everyday life, struggle and empowerment through the eyes of strong women everywhere.
