The Before, After and Enameling with Jennifer Wells

The Before, After and Enameling with Jennifer Wells

Presented by Carpenter Art Enamel Foundation at Carpenter Art Enamel Foundation

Add texture and dimension to your enamel work and further your metalworking skills with Jennifer Wells, a teaching artist throughout the U.S. and Italy. Learn to fabricate, build form, and work three dimensionally to enhance your work.  Whether it’s jewelry, sculpture or wall art, Jennifer will guide you to a new level of production. In this 3-day workshop, participants will begin with the fabricating the metal framework that will support and enhance the use of vitreous enamels.  Students will learn which techniques and textures work in collaboration with enamels. They will learn how to think through the process that will allow the form to be cold connected to a frame or jewelry elements.  The end goal is to explore layering various enamel techniques that will emphasize the texture of the metal.
