Kindred: Our Common Ground

Kindred: Our Common Ground

Presented by Women Writing for (a) Change at Manifest Gallery

“We share such a beautiful world. If nothing else, may we always find commonality and conversation on that basis”  ― Melanie Charlene

Join Women Writing for (a) Change as we partner with Manifest Creative Research Gallery for the seventh program in this ten-part series. Inspired by the exhibit, participants will be led by facilitator Brigid O'Kane in the creative process of considering how visual art communicates that which cannot be said with words.

Then, through observation and discovery, writers will unearth their unique interpretation of what these works of art are saying to them. Writing prompts will guide participants in their own journey to discover, question, and consider what emerges when viewing works based on the theme of "Kindred." Time will be allotted for those who would like to share part of their writing.

New and experienced writers are welcome. Bring your favorite writing materials or use supplies provided. Doors open at 9:30 am, come early to mingle and view the art in the Gallery!

Note: This program will take place at Manifest Gallery, 2727 Woodburn Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45206.
