Contemporary Art in the Sinton Gallery: Cynthia Lockhart
Cynthia Lockhart’s textile creations invite viewers to embark on a journey of discovery. Composed of colorful fabrics arranged in dynamic patterns, her fiber art tells a story—one that “encourages people to see the endless possibilities of Hope, Joy and Love.” Lockhart’s work is included in the collections of the Cincinnati Art Museum, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and the University of Cincinnati (UC) and has been featured in numerous publications. Now Professor Emerita, Lockhart taught students in UC’s College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning (DAAP) for 25 Years.
