Honoring positive women and a “Baba of Honor” in Greater Cincinnati through music, visual art, cultural dance, performance and song.
One of the most inspirational celebrations of music, dance and song right in the heart of Cincinnati. "Dada Rafiki", which means Sister Friend in the Kiswahili language of Eastern Africa is an engaging multicultural performance featuring performances by the Cincinnati Opera, Kathy Wade, the Afrikan American Drum and Dance Ensemble, LaVieena Campbell, JaHipster, Napoleon Maddox, the Cultural Centre of India, Todd O'Neal & Company, Ellis Williams and more. The celebration is hosted by Kyla Woods of WLWT-TV5 and up-and-coming performing artist and author Teniah. Guests have the opportunity to spend an evening with some of Cincinnati's premier performing artists in an up-close and personal setting.
