Zac Greenberg "Unexpected Journey" Album Release Concert

Presented by Jazz Alive at Urban Artifact

Join Zac Greenberg and friends as they celebrate the release of "Unexpected Journey," his new jazz-fusion album inspired by cancer. Greenberg, who studied music at Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, the University of North Carolina Wilmington and New York University, is an eclectic musician and composer whose styles range from traditional jazz to country, Americana and acid rock. "Unexpected Journey" tells the story of a cancer patient's struggle through diagnosis and treatment, leaving listeners with a sense of optimism. Greenberg composed this four-movement concerto in memory of his late grandfathers, Cincinnati physicians Fred Elkus, M.D., and Stanley Kaplan, M.D. A portion of proceeds from digital downloads and hard-copy CD sales will benefit Susan G. Komen of Greater Cincinnati during October (National Breast Cancer Awareness Month). "Unexpected Journey" is available on CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon. www.CDBaby.com/cd/zacgreenberg
