Rhythm Workshop with Grammy Nominee Subhen Chatterjee 7PM $25/PARTICIPANT

Bharathnatyam and Kathak Students will do a one hour workshop with the live band of Confluence (Shuben Chatterjee) and perform at the end of the workshop as the opening for the concert. Dancers will work with Nupur Paul for Kathak and Anupa Mirle for Bharathnatyam. To sign up, please contact them individually. This is primarily geared towards Intermediate and advanced students. Registrants for the workshop have free entry to the concert.

This is also open to students of ballet and contemporary dance as an invitation to explore fusion rhythms.

Led by  Grammy Nominee, a saxophone player trained in Western and Indian music and a sarod player, this is an opportunity to mingle with the artists at close quarters.
