For the past two years, the Red Door Project has been bringing artists of all abilities and ages together to share and sell their work through silent auctions. The first show to be held in Clifton will be themed “Masquerade” and will take place at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center on October 23rd from 6:00pm – 9:30pm. “CCAC is thrilled to be one of the few neighborhoods outside of OTR to host the Red Door Project.” Said Leslie R. Mooney, Executive Director of the Clifton Cultural Arts Center. “Their focus on providing opportunities to artists at all levels fits perfectly with CCAC’s mission as a community arts center.”
The Red Door Project is Cincinnati’s own pop up art gallery. Each month the Red Door Project issues an open call to artists all over Cincinnati, asking them to submit pieces based on a theme set by the gallery. Each piece s curated, priced and displayed at the gallery, where the entire community is invited each month. This month’s show is themed “Masquerade,” and will take place at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center on October 23th.
