Clybourne Park was awarded the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2012 Tony Award for Best Play.
Inspired by Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun (1959), the play explodes in two high powered acts set 50 years apart. It imagines events in a racially charged America and reveals that underneath a house in a typical neighborhood, racial fault lines run deep and wide.
