Collegium’s annual holiday tradition of Handel’s masterpiece performed by a small chamber orchestra and 16 singers.
Guest conductor Kent Tritle joins the Collegium to lead this annual Christ Church Cathedral tradition. Called “the brightest star in New York’s choral music world” by The New York Times, he is Director of Cathedral Music and Organist at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City; Music Director of Musica Sacra, the longest continuously performing professional chorus in New York; and Music Director of the Oratorio Society of New York, the acclaimed 200-voice volunteer chorus.
With the Collegium, he will follow our tradition of performing the work with just 16 singers and a small chamber orchestra: every detail of Handel’s masterpiece can be heard in this stunning production.
Tickets range from $30-$40 with student tickets available for $10.
