Join us at the Freedom Center for a showcase of the African American experience and African American artists during Black History month!
As the community comes together now through the end of April to raise money for the arts, join ArtsWave as it presents Lifting As We Climb Day, with support from Macy’s. One day only, the Freedom Center and the new Motel X exhibit are open to everyone in a showcase the African American experience and African American artists during Black History Month. A dozen performances will highlight Black history and the African American experience, including The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, Elementz, Macedonia Living Word Fellowship, Ed "Sax" Thomas and more. It happens February 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
