Love and hope survive
Art reflects life, even in its most tragic moments. Using a Broadway style, John Adams' I was looking at the ceiling and then I saw the sky tells the stories of seven characters—each battling an inner demon—whose lives are thrown into chaos by the devastating 1994 Northridge, California earthquake. In the face of tragedy, love and hope survive.
Two performances only. Featuring members of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and a talented cast of singers. This semi-staged production contains adult subject matter not intended for all audiences.
