True Crime Historian and former Journal-News writer, Richard O. Jones, explores the fascinating case file on the shooting death of Thomas Myers in the faro room of the American Saloon on Hamilton’s High Street, Christmas Eve, 1870. Although the room was crowded with more than twenty men, no one saw who fired the fatal shot, but police blamed it on political rival Thomas McGehean. Explore the details of the case, including three trials and assassination of the accused killer.
