CCO2GO | A Woman’s Mind Amplified

CCO2GO | A Woman’s Mind Amplified

Presented by Summermusik (Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra) at Cincinnati Art Museum

Join the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra string quartet and featured hornist and event curator Brooke Ten Napel as we celebrate female composers and artists from the past and present. In partnership with the Cincinnati Art Museum, the CCO will perform a diverse program inspired by CAM’s exhibition Women Breaking Boundaries. The concert will explore the relationship between the wide variety of art in the gallery – both in time and style – and the particular pieces of music that will be performed. A special emphasis will be put on modern composers to complement the Museum’s continuing efforts to add works by women now and in the future. You don’t want to miss special guest CCO music director Eckart Preu as he gives attendees inside information on Summermusik 2020! Plus, guests will receive a special Summermusik sweet treat to go after the show!
