Giving blood saves lives! Join us on Sunday, August 16th from 10am – 4pm for a blood drive at Pyramid Hill. The blood drive will take place in Pyramid Hill’s park. Pre-registration for this event is required. Donors will receive FREE admission to the park, as well as one Pyramid Pick ticket which can be used for FREE admission at any of Pyramid Hill’s remaining 2020 events, including:

- Canines & Wine:  Friday, August 21st 6:00 - 8:00pm

- Art & Music Festival:  Saturday & Sunday, September 26th and 27th

- Holiday Lights on the Hill:  November 20th - December 30th

Did you know donated blood can go toward treating trauma patients, heart surgery patients, cancer patients, transplant patients, burn patients, premature and new babies, anemic patients, and sickle cell patients?

Each day, Hoxworth Blood Centers needs to collect at least 350 units of blood and 60 units of apheresis platelets to meet the needs of patients in the Tri-State area.  Once testing and processing is complete, the units are dispersed to over 30 hospitals served by Hoxworth where they are transfused to patients with a variety of medical needs.
