In this virtual exhibit, we hope to elevate and reflect on the significance of the voices and efforts of Jewish women who fought for the passage of the 19th Amendment. View the exhibit at MayersonJCC.org through the month of August.
2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which provided millions of women with the right to vote.
Though we commemorate the centennial, the ratification of the 19th Amendment on August 18, 1920, still left many in disenfranchisement.
Across the country, the centennial of the 19th Amendment and the work of the women who fought for its passage are being recognized. In this virtual exhibit, we hope to elevate and reflect on the significance of the voices and efforts of Jewish women.
