If you want to become a more skilled and confident painter, this class is for you. You'll learn the secrets of a limited palette and effective paint mixing, and how to start every new painting with a strong composition. We focus on the essentials: brush handling and expressive color while painting from direct observation. Every class includes instructor demos on palette setup and a tonal underpainting, with plenty of painting time, individual instruction and feedback.
We'll paint from direct observation of colorful still life setups, and you'll get color handouts for reference at home. Come join a small group of like-minded artists to take your skills and your confidence to a higher level.
Six week session: January 14 - February 18. $185

Parking is available in the West gravel lot and in the courtyard at the front of the building. The facility can accommodate up to 40 cars on-site; parking on the street is also available.
