In this workshop, we will use "epistolary poetry" (letter poems) to speak our thoughts and experiences to a real or imagined "you." Letters to those lost to us, to a trusted friend, a pen-pal, a public official, our future selves, our bitter foes, to our favorite literary or movie characters.... the possibilities are endless! The imagery and concise language of poetry will be useful tools as we speak the truths we have to tell. Led by Paulette Hansel, ages 12-18.
