Campers make cartooning magic happen in this ever-popular camp week. Creating their very own comic book worlds will surely delight campers as they develop figure drawing skills, superhero identities, and master comic strip/book storyboarding and design. Mornings focus on illustration techniques like transfer/copy art, perspective, shading, and adding dimension to characters. Afternoons add a 3-D element bringing characters to life with mobiles, clay, and optical illusion. Using learned skills and practice, turn doodles into animation masterpieces.
Half Day or Full Day options are available for each week.
During Registration, please select AM session, PM session, or select both options for a Full Day registration.
Half day cost is $160/week. A Half Day session meets Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am - 12:15 pm OR from 1:15 pm to 4:30 pm.
Full day cost is $255/week. A Full Day session meets Monday to Friday from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. Full Day campers will bring a packed lunch and 2 snacks. Lunch is held from 12:15 - 1:15 pm, with an indoor/outdoor recess.
Every Friday at Camp, AM and PM sessions will each end with an exhibition and reception for campers and their families. Light refreshments will be served, and all of the campers' artwork from that week will be on display, gallery-style. Campers will collect their works at this time to take home. Full Day session attendees will celebrate during the PM reception.
Additional Camp Options:
Before Camp Care: 8:00 - 9:00 am - $35 per week
After Camp Care: 4:30 - 5:30 pm - $35 per week
Before and After Camp Care: Supervision before and/or after the camp day (9:00 am-4:30 pm) is available at an additional charge on a per week basis. Please indicate choice on registration form. Payment must be included with registration.
Refunds: Please choose carefully. No refunds will be given after the 2nd day of the selected Camp week.
