Artist Trading Cards
Ages: 9-12. Instructor: June Pfaff Daley.
Week 5: June 28th – July 2nd
Tuition $190 or sliding scale (as low as $19)

Artist Trading Cards are 2-1/2” x 3-1/2” mini works of art. We will use watercolor paper, cardboard, playing cards and other “card” material cut-to-size for an ATC collection. This small format is perfect for learning new mixed media techniques and experiencing the fun of trading art with others. Incorporate stencils, hand-stitching, paint, markers, stamps, embossing and much more to fill a trading card binder with sleeves of unique art pieces. Each day will focus on a new art lesson including line, color, surface design, texture and interactive art.

This week-long camp provides campers with a structured yet creative environment to explore their artistic side. Each camper will create their own portfolio of artwork which will result in a sense of pride and accomplishment. In addition, the opportunity to share art with fellow campers and the instructor will be offered in the form of trades. We will learn to respect and appreciate the art of others.
