Join us for an opening reception for Silver Lining, an outdoor photography exhibition. CCAC invited artists and neighbors to share the photographs they’ve made as a silver lining following 2020. While some traditional forms of photography utilize a literal layer of silver suspended in gelatin, other artistic practices pursue this lightness through more metaphoric channels, and still other approaches have art-making centered as the silver lining itself. Of course, for some there is no “silver lining,” and that perspective was invited to be shared as well. Of the over 100 images submitted, 50 images were selected to be displayed along the fence of Rawson Woods Bird Preserve, representing 34 photographers both from near and far.
