World Dance Cincinnati

Presented by NrityArpana School of Performing Arts (NSPA) at Online/Virtual Space

Developed in order to promote understanding and appreciation of dance culture from around the world, NSPA manages and hosts World Dance Cincinnati as part of the annual World Dance Day.  NSPA works closely with a close team of multi-cultural artists to share with the public the extraordinary range of dance studied and performed in the greater Cincinnati area.

Experiences like World Dance Day provide our community with an invaluable opportunity to learn more about one another’s cultures and to recognize our similarities and how they bind us together rather than focus on our differences.  This cross-cultural celebration is a powerful and uniquely American experience.  In the past, dancers have showcased traditional African, Balinese, Greek, and Hawaiian dance along with Latin Samba, Indian Bharathnatyam, and Arabic Zaffa

This year we bring an array of themes, dance styles from artists who have studios locally, are students of schools in Greater Cincinnati or visiting artists who have performed in Cincinnati.
