Having Our Say ,1993 Bestseller & 2000 Peabody Award winner, was adapted into a Broadway winning play by Emily Mann and in 1999 made into a CBS television movie.

Having Our Say tells the story of the venerable Delany Sisters who were truly women of the 1990’s remembering and giving insight into the 1890’s! The Delany Sisters’ First 100 years received its premiere at the McCarter Theatre in 1995!It was also produced on Broadway at the Booth Theatre by Camille O. Cosby and Judith Rutherford James. It is truly inspirational! Their story is an insightful and uplifting guide of America through the eyes of women, African American women —-as Americans!!
