Ikebana: The Art of Japanese Flower Arranging - New Exhibition at The Barn

Presented by Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati Foundation at The Barn (Woman's Art Club Cultural Center)

The Sogetsu Cincinnati branch is hosting an exhibition at The Barn September 2 through 5. Come enjoy the beautiful Ikebana arrangements by Sogetsu Cincinnati members!

An Opening Reception will be held on Friday, September, 3 from 6 - 7:30pm, featuring a demonstration by the Director, Koukichi Uchiyama. An example of his work is shown above. The public is warmly invited.

Mr. Uchiyama has been studying Sogetsu for 24 years and has taught the art for 11 years. He holds a high advanced Sogetsu Diploma, First Grade Somu.

This event is free and open to the public.
