Create, eat, and celebrate art with local artist Lainey Schwaner and pastry chef Sarah Jurcenko. Each week we'll explore a unique culinary-art fusion to get your creative juices and appetites flowing! This 6 week class will meet Saturdays at 1pm-3pm from October 9th thru November 13th.
In these classes, we will be learning cookie painting techniques, stampmaking from food, food composition with sandwich making, DIY bookmaking, artfully cut fruit salads, and food photography. The classes are for adults 18+ . Knives will be used in some of the classes.
Cost is $135 per person or $250 per couple for each class.

October 9, 2021: Cookie Painting - In this workshop, participants will learn about decorating cookies with beautiful art
Saturday, October 16, 2021: Stampmaking - In this workshop, participants will learn how to make their own stamps from both art materials and food materials. After learning this, we will be creating custom linen napkins that participants can take home with them and reuse. *Participants will be using knives in this class.
Saturday, October 23, 2021: Sandwich Making - In this workshop, participants will learn how to make their sandwiches and other food items look more visually appealing. Participants will be taught about how to artfully cut and lay out food to create a delicious looking composition, ready to be eaten. *Participants will be using knives in this class.
Saturday, October 30, 2021: DIY Bookmaking - In this workshop, participants will learn how to create and bind custom cookbooks.
Saturday, November 6, 2021: Fruit Salads - In this workshop, participants will learn about knife skills, and will leave knowing how to artfully cut fruit into different shapes, such as roses. *Participants will be using knives in this class.
Saturday, November 13, 2021: Food Photography - In this workshop, participants will learn about the art of Food Photography. Participants will learn about building a set, organizing compositions, lighting skills, and taking beautiful photographs of their food-based composition.
