Books and reading played a significant role in the lives of Jane Austen’s characters and a key role in Austen’s own life. Join experts from the Cincinnati Book Arts Society for a hands-on introduction to bookmaking. Following the workshop, you will create two handmade books and come away with inspiration for your own further explorations in the book arts.
$60 Taft members; $75 non-members. Age level: 12 and up. No prior experience is necessary. Participants can either bring their own lunch or purchase lunch at the Lindner Family Café. Reservations required.
Includes admission to the special exhibition "Jane Austen: Fashion & Sensibility" and the Taft historic house galleries.
