The Solo Projects - 900 Gallons

The Solo Projects - 900 Gallons

Presented by Oxford Community Arts Center at Oxford Community Arts Center

900 Gallons
Nicole Gurgel-Seefeldt

900 Gallons is a processional performance ritual. Together, Nicole Gurgel-Seefeldt and the audience
unpack the existence and persistence of white supremacy in her family history. Weaving together
story, song, and movement while excavating personal artifacts and drinking an unnerving amount of
milk, Gurgel-Seefeldt seeks to reckon with these histories without becoming them.

This is an in-progress showing. Please come prepared to travel a short distance, indoors and outdoors, in all kinds of weather. Wheelchair accessible.

OCAC’s The Solo Projects is a new venture shaping performance space for original creative work that
allows for a multiplicity of perspectives that give voice and personal insight to various familial issues.
SHE HER HERS is the inaugural lineup for this new grown-up extension of our Family Performance
Series. The Oxford Community Arts Center, in collaboration with Miami University Department of
Theatre and the Department of Educational Leadership, present this dynamic combination of theatrical
performances by powerful female artists. The Family Performance Series is supported by the Miami
University Performing Arts Series and the thousands of individuals, like you, that give generously to
the ArtsWave Community Campaign.
