Stretching 100s of feet along Covington KY's flood walls, are eighteen magnificent, colorful murals by internationally acclaimed artist Robert Dafford and his team. These captivating images depict the rich history of Covington, Northern Kentucky and the Roebling Bridge from 8000 B.C. to 2008 A.D.

From prehistoric buffalo crossing the Ohio River to a more present day depiction of the riverfront with historic riverboats and fireworks, each scene tells an important story of our area's history while creating a spectacular visual effect.

Lietzenmayer, long-time member of the Kenton County Historical Society, has edited and produced Northern Kentucky Heritage Magazine for over 25 years and has promoted and documented Northern Kentucky history in many other ways — as researcher, adviser, tour guide and writer. He also has encouraged the preservation of original documents and photographs and helped start an intern program for budding historians.
