OPERA & WELLNESS: Build Fire & Inspire

OPERA & WELLNESS: Build Fire & Inspire

Presented by Cincinnati Opera at Music Hall

Music Hall • Cincinnati Opera Garret

Opera & Wellness has engaged voice professor and fitness instructor, Dr. Shannon Cochran, to guide us on a journey of mindfulness inspired by opera. We invite you to join us in rediscovering personal gratitude, care and kindness of our bodies, and meditation.

With a bit more focus on movement, this session uses opera music to guide us through a combination of strength, yoga, and dance/cardio movements to build fire (raise heart rate slightly) and inspire (meditation).

Tickets: $10 (FREE for students)

This course is more fitness-focused, and includes a combination of strength, yoga, and dance/cardio movements with the intention of building fire (raising the heart rate slightly) and inspiring (meditation). The goal is to feel the mind-body connection through this work while using operatic music as our main thread through the sections.
