The Weston Art Gallery welcomes artist Joshua Penrose with his exhibition, Shadow Works.
Joshua Penrose (Columbus, OH) works across a variety of media informed by the digital domain including sound, video, light and digital automation. His interest in alchemical practices and the transformation of material forms informs his current work with digital media. For Penrose, the digital domain remains withdrawn from our collective 21st-century mind, its roots are hidden, subterranean, and while the digital domain reaches out, it only caresses the surface of our collective experience.
The opening reception for Shadow Works will be held on Friday, January 20 from 6-8 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
The exhibition runs through March 5, 2023.
Please join us for Joshua Penrose’s Gallery Talk on Saturday, January 21 at 2 p.m.
Admission to the Weston Art Gallery is FREE and open to the public!
