Poetry Reading: The Wild Sonnets: Volume V by Nicholas Korn

Nicholas Korn is pleased to announce the publication of The Wild Sonnets: Volume V (401-500). The official release date is January 6, 2023. This is the fifth book of 100 poems in the Wild Sonnets series.

In celebration of the new Wild Sonnets book, Mr. Korn will read selections from his recent collection at the Art Academy of Cincinnati on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 4:00PM to 4:30PM. The reading will be held in the Pearlman Gallery.

The event will feature a unique format, using a tarot-style presentation where the audience will select the poems to be read by the poet, and each Wild Sonnet will be shown on screen while the work is read. Copies of The Wild Sonnets: Volume V (401-500) will be available after the reading for sale and signing.

Artist Bio
Nicholas Korn is the Director of Marketing & Communications for the Art Academy of Cincinnati, as well as a poet, playwright and occasional music producer. He is currently publishing the fifth book of 100 poems in his Wild Sonnets series, and is already working on the sixth.

His stage play, Delirium’s Daughters, was produced Off-Broadway in 2015 and is currently managed by Dramatic Publishing, and his self-produced film, Revel’s Rivals, won Best Animated Feature at the 2012 Louisville International Festival of Film. An earlier play, The Antic in Romantic was a finalist for the 2006 Kaufman and Hart Prize for New American Comedy. Mr. Korn was also the founder of Stage First Cincinnati, which produced 23 classical dramas and comedies at the Aronoff Center’s Fifth Third Bank Theater. He was also president of the League of Cincinnati Theatres for two years. As a stage performer, he studied at the National Shakespeare Conservatory in NYC and at Second City in Chicago. He is also a graduate of Northwestern University, with his Bachelors in English Literature.
